Uganda is a country full of life and by life we mean they love to party which is why there is one festival after another week in, week out. The fetes have become a classy way of celebrating life achievements but most of these festivals are all about food such as the pizza festival, rolex festival, meat festival and pork festival among others yet we all know that with food, a drink has to be present for easy digestion.

It is because of luck of drink festival that Evolve Uganda has come up with the first ever Wines, Cocktails and Whisky Festival slated to take place on Sunday September 1, 2019 at Sheraton Kampala Hotel gardens.

Themed “A Toast To Greatness”, the event will have a variety of activities which include wine and whiskey tasting, auction sessions, classic music, wine and whiskey connoisseur sessions.

“As Evolve Uganda, we decided to partner with a high end hotel like Sheraton Hotel to bring an annual festival to wine & whisky enthusiasts to taste different wines, whiskeys, cocktails coupled with their classic music and favorite food,” said Martin Mukama, the event organiser.

Unlike other festivals, this is an invite only event, but it is simple to get yourself an invite. All you need to do is buy four cocktails at Sheraton Hotel Equator bar or purchase a bottle of your preferred wine or whiskey using the Jumia food app.
