The weekend saw a couple of comedy shows take place including Patrick Salvador Idringi’s ‘Just Comedy’, Madrat and Chiko’s ‘Nseko Buseko’ and Okello Okello’s ‘Black Friday’. All these shows were very well attended but Okello Okello’s  stood out, not because of the performances but because of the uniqueness it had to offer. Okello was the first comedian to execute the idea of silent comedy as the first of its kind in Kampala.

Joshua Okello alias Okello Okello thought it would be a great idea to give a unique touch to Comedy and it indeed turned out great.

By 7pm the National Theatre auditorium was packed to capacity and revellers were availed with headsets and the show kicked off. It was a unique experience as fans who graced the show got value for their money as they were treated to numerous hilarious and rib-cracking jokes through headphones all night long.

The event saw performances from dynamic comedy duo Duo OJ and Laptop, Kenyan 2mbiri, Dr Hilarious, Agnes Akite, Don Andre and Odeezy. The show was climaxed towards midnight with a performance from local comedian Omukebete who wowed the fans with his performance.
