Vinka, Cindy, Sheeba
If nominations are anything to go by, then Vinka and Sheeba have won the battle over Cindy.
The three have been involved in a verbal confrontation regarding who the best is. Cindy at some point referred to the two artistes as dummies for being signed to record labels.
However, Sheeba and Vinka are having the last laugh after getting nominated in the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), slated to take place on October 26th and 27th in Dallas.
Sheeba and Vinka are nominated in the Best Female East Africa category alongside Rema Namakula and Juliana Kanyomozi.
Other Ugandans who received nominations include Eddy Kenzo in the Best Male East Africa category, Sasha Vybz in the best Videographer category and James Onen for best Radio/TV personality.
This year’s AFRIMMA awards are set to be hosted at the Dallas Bomb Factory in Texas.
These are arguably Africa’s biggest awards and they have seen some Ugandans winning them. Among them is Jose Chameleon, Radio and Weasel, Unique, Eddy Kenzo, Cindy, Bebe Cool, Irene Namatovu and Sandra Nankoma.
