There are no vulgar comedians but rather vulgar audiences – Salvador

“What you give is what you get” is what comedian Patrick Indringi popularly known as Salvador said when he was asked why some local comedians are vulgar. By the statement, the self-proclaimed man from Ombokolo meant that if it is the revelers that love Vulgar jokes, why not?

The comedians give it to them because it is what they have asked for at the end of the day. “When Mariachi cracks Vulgar jokes and you smile and chant, he will give you more but when you show him that you are not interested in such jokes, he will not bring them back again” Salvador said.

All this was said earlier today at Atmosphere Lounge in Kololo where he held the Press Conference ahead of the ‘Just Comedy’ show debut. For starters, Just Comedy is a weekly show that Salvador will host alongside Emma Napoleone and Ronnie McVex every Wednesday at the newly constructed Kingdom Kampala.

The show will join comedy shows like Comedy Store, Comedicine, Comedy Fiesta and Mega Fused comedy among others. Salvador said that unlike the other comedy shows that happen weekly, ‘Just Comedy’ is a show that Ugandans have never seen and that Eric Omondi who is coming back to Uganda after last week’s performance at Comedy Store will be back to deliver like never before.

“Many people think Omondi doesn’t have anything to offer since he is a regular in Uganda but for me who knows him well, I know he has never performed in Uganda and he will only perform literally for the first time at ‘Just Comedy’ show tomorrow” Salvador said.
