I used to do 9 gigs a night to complete my house- Sheebah

Singer Sheebah Karungi last evening saw her dream come true when she finally entered the house she has been constructing for about two years. Sheebah grabbed the chance that she was on top of the music charts and making good money and used it wisely.

The first thing that she did that shocked most Ugandans was when she bought a piece of land in Munyonyo on Mulungu road where she then started constructing her mansion. She organized a housewarming party last evening where she invited friends, media personalities, family and members of Team No Sleep and Sheebaholics, her fan group.

During the housewarming, happiness was written all over her face, Sheebah was smiling, shedding tears of joy at the same time as she kept on looking at the upper balcony, the gate, the lower balcony the windows and outside in the neighborhood. “I am so happy about this achievement but I still cannot believe I own this house and I pray it is not a dream where I will wake up and I don’t have this house anymore” Sheebah said. She went on to thank her manager Jeff Kiwa for not being a selfish but rather a selfless manager who wanted the best for her. Through him, her dream came true and from the slums of Kawempe she now owns a mansion in Munyonyo.

Guests couldnt help but record every moment as well as take pictures

As she went on in her speech, Sheebah also said that growing up, she was ashamed of taking people to where she used to sleep because it didn’t look good but God has done wonders and she owns a mansion. “Leaving in the slums made me work hard and it is the reason I would do about 9 shows in one night just to collect the money so that the mansion can be built so fast” Sheebah said.

Sheebah is a true definition of hard work pays, three years back, Sheebah posted her dream house and today she is living in it.

And she is now living the dream
