Latest news reaching us is that Gaetano Kaggwa has been selected as one of the judges for the East Africa’s Got talent and he’s the only Ugandan on that panel.
The media personality will be selecting and criticizing the best talented people from East Africa alongside Tanzanian singer, songwriter, rapper, activist, television presenter and radio personality Vanessa Mdee, former Africa correspondent for CNN Jeff Koinange and Makeda, a media personality, deejay and emcee from Rwanda.
The four will be running the show from the 4th of August when it will start airing. Gaetano’s role makes him the second Ugandan on this show which already has Ann Kansiime as the host.
Gaetano rose to fame when he represented Uganda in the first edition of Big Brother Africa in 2003. After that, he also hosted the television show Studio 53 on Mnet.
