Wema Sepetu with her ex Mother in law Mama Dangote
The mother to Tanzania’s top artiste Diamond Platnumz popularly known as Mama Dangote has come out to send a consoling message to his son’s ex-lover , Wema sepetu who is being detained in prison for going against the bond terms in an case where she is charged for leaking her own sex tape online last year in November.
This happened on Monday 17th June, as a result of last week’s Tuesday ruling by Dar es Salaam’s Resident Magistrate Court, Kisutu that issued a warrant for Wema’s arrest after failing to appear for the mentioning of her case.
Even though her lawyer, Ruben Simwanza tried to defend his client that the actress arrived for the hearing but had to leave because she got stomach complications the Judge was not convinced.
Mama Dangote went to her Instagram page and posted, “Be strong my love @Wemasepetu. Sepenga sepenga.”
The sweet tender message showed that the former mother-in-law and daughter-in-law had moved past their differences and patched up their relationship after they drew apart when the actress had a nasty break up with his only son, Diamond in 2015.
The Kisitu Resident Magistrate, Maira Kasonde also had ruled that the socialite will be remanded for seven days until next week on Monday 24th June when a fresh hearing will be held to rule whether to release her or not on new bond terms.
