Four One One

Singer Chameleone pays tribute to Daniella as they celebrate 11th marriage anniversary

Scottish novelist and travel writer Robert Louis Stevenson once said “Marriage is like life – it is a field of battle, not a bed of roses.”

Ugandan Music legend, Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone could have had Stevenson’s statement at the back of his mind when he posted a happy marriage anniversary message for his wife Daniella Atim Mayanja on his social media platforms.

With many news reports of break up and reunions in the background, today is exactly 11 years since the aspiring Kampala Lord Mayor walked down the aisle with his wife Daniella Atim.

Chamelone on Friday praised his wife, with whom they have five children, for being the anchor for their marriage as he posted on his Facebook page.

He wrote,” Marriage is a lifelong melody sung by two hearts completely surrendered to love.

Today is exactly 11 years of loving, supporting and complimenting me, there could never have been a better wife for me than you DANIELLA ATIM MAYANJA. Happy Anniversary Mrs Mayanja.”

Their wedding ceremony which took place in 2007 was one of the most flamboyant and lavish as they travelled in a private chopper from the church ceremony at St James Catholic Church, Biina to the reception at the luxurious Serena hotel, Kampala.

The Mayanjas’ marriage has recently been characterized with reports of separation and reunions after reunions under unclear accusations but they seem to have overcome such tides.

The couple is blessed with five children, three boys and two girls who now stay in the USA where the star bought for them a house early this year to live in.

Their children are Abba Marcus Mayanja, Alba Shyne Mayanja, Alfa Joseph Mayanja, Amma Christian Mayanja and Xara.
