Nexus Lounge in Najjera was at the hub of all top artistes in the music Industry during the second edition of the musical experience. The musicians were pulled together in one place by the duo of Kent and Flosso who have also been in the music Industry for a while now.
The Bell Jamz Music Experience which was recently launched by Uganda Breweries Limited is meant to bring fans close to their artistes that give them a live music experience free of charge. After Beenie Gunter putting up a memorable experience at Wave Lounge a few months ago, Kent and Flosso headlined Nexus Lounge’s edition last week.
Even though it was full house, the duo didn’t get on stage until a few minutes to midnight when they kicked off with the song Pull-up with the live band as they followed up with Cheza Mama, Inspector Featuring DJ Fikie, Aye and Kila Migino among others.
Artistes who collaborations with the duo came on stage one after the other and performed with them. Before, they invited Ragga Dee who they refer to us their mentor in the music industry. Ragga Dee worked out the crowd and performed the crowd’s favorites from many years ago. He did songs like Letter O, Ndigida, Parliament, Champion and Cheza among others. Other artistes were Nutty Neithan who performed Sample featuring the duo. He stayed and did the songs like What did you do, Kwata Eccupa and Bakuwe Kyonywa.
They then came back on stage with Vinka and did their song Over Doze before leaving her to do songs like Mapozi, Chips Na Ketchup, Malaika, Luyimba Lwomwaka, Sweet Love and Love Doctor then she left the stage. The singers at around 3am in the morning performed the song everyone was waiting for, somewhere excited to join them on stage and perform Byafaayo which they did together and called it a show. The Bell Jamz Music industry will continue in different bars in Kampala with different talented artistes.
