Kampala City Hall court has issued third criminal summons to a Local musician Daniel Kazibwe commonly known as Ragga Dee after he allegedly failed to attend court today.
The summon has been issued by City Hall Court grade one magistrate Patrick Talisuna.
However, state prosecutor from KCCA Elijah Ndamuran informed court that they still need more two weeks to peruse the file to see whether they can continue with it or not.
This prompted the magistrate to adjourn the matter to April 15th for mention.
Last month Ragga Dee arrived at court on time to respond to his earlier summons but when it came to court time his lawyer went the magistrate’s chambers where it was revealed that he [Ragga Dee] was in talks with the directors of KCCA.
Mr David Mushabe the lawyer of Ragga Dee informed presiding grade one magistrate Mr Talisuna that negotiations with KCCA Directors are underway to have the matter resolved out of court but today he told journalists that his client is ready to take a plea in case state is ready with its investigation.
For the second time when he appeared in court, Ragga Dee again stayed outside with his sureties thus extending the criminal summons for the third time.
Ragga Dee and his manager Ms Ritah Nancy are wanted to explain why they emit noise beyond permissible levels at Big Mikes Bar, in Kololo. He co-owns the bar with a UPDF Maj. Juma Seiko who was in court.
He is also accused of failing to comply with an improvement noise order issued to him by KCCA and breaking council property [seals].
