Zari’s stint as tourism ambassador finally paid off when she won the Tourism Ambassador of the year award at the Ekkula tourism awards held at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
The socialite who was Tourism Minister Godfrey Kiwanda’s first pick as tourism ambassador could not hold her excitement and immediately posted the great news.

Unfortunately, she was not in the country and her award was picked by Aly Alibhai, the CEO and manager Talent Africa.
“What more can I say other than thanking God then secondly everyone who voted for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH,” Zari posted on social media.
