For the past couple of weeks, the Miss curvy competition has been on everyone’s lips. Right from Parliament straight to ‘Omuntu wawansi’ with some against it and others for it.
When it was eventually endorsed by the speaker of Parliament Hon Rebecca Kadaga, preparations started and on Saturday, auditions were carried out at club Ambiance Bukeesa where hundreds turned up for the spectacular event.
We, however, noticed that the curved ladies that we expected didn’t turn up as those who did were just plus-sized women.
To console ourselves, we came up with a list of celebrities that we thought could win this competition.
Winnie Nwagi
Winnie Nwagi– the Swangz Avenue signed artist has all it takes to win this competition. Yes, she’s a bit big, but the way her curves are defined gives her all it takes to take the crown. Her waist is partitioned well and has the hips. Bebe Cool even sang about her figure in his ‘Kabulengane’ song.
Desire Luzinda
Desire Luzinda– The mother of one has over the years topped the list of Ugandan female musicians with a good figure. She’s well endowed, has the perfect package that has many Ugandan men crazy. O not forget that she even released a song about her endowment- Kitone.
Anita Fabiola
Anita Fabiola– the former ‘Be my date’ presenter on NTV light skinned, but that isn’t the only attractive thing about her. Whenever she posts her pictures on social media while in a bikini, they are shared multiple times. It is even said she gets endorsement deals because of her curvaceous body.
Juliana Kanyomozi
Juliana Kanyomozi- Unlike, the rest of the candidates on this list, at least Juliana’s career has been progressing because of her voice. She’s regarded as one of the best vocalists in the industry. Besides her angelic voice, Juliana’s figure could pass for a curvy competition but the problem is that it has been only noticed by a few people.
Martha Kay
Martha Kay. She made a name for herself on social media and many refer to her as the ‘Range Rover’ girl. Martha Kay looks great. She has a very nice figure and in most cases has emerged among the best dressed on events. Her curves have driven so many wild. She would emerge among the top three if she were to participate.
Shamim Namawa
Shamim Namawa– Her curves and figure led people to make comparisons between her and Desire Luzinda with most even saying that the latter doesn’t come any closer. Her figure was what sold her and it even captured the attention of politician Kantinti who decided to marry her, make her pregnant and told her to forego the music industry.
