Miss Uganda UK asks for rolex upon returning to Uganda

Miss Uganda UK Peninah Wampamba returned to Uganda after four years. Wampamba who last year was crowned Miss Uganda UK 2018/19 replacing Jan Mukiibi has been working and studying in the UK.

Wampamba is a luganda teacher at the Sunday school service in Manchester and also studying medical Nursing at Sal-ford University in Manchester. She returned to the country on Friday evening ahead of her charity projects.

When Wampamba met her friends and family, the first thing she asked them of was if they had come with the rolex she ordered them to buy on their way to the airport. She was seen eating the rolex as she caught up with friends and family.

Wampamba among the different activities will visit tourism sites in Fort Portal, will do blood donations with Uganda Red Cross and also visit the Buganda Kingdom among other activities.

Among other activities that Wampamba talked about is when she goes back, she is going to start on her Tulambule Campaign concept.

“On my Tulambule concept, I will make sure that after visiting different tourism sites in Uganda, I will tell my friends about Uganda’s tourism in a way that will make them come and visit the country,” Wampamba said.

She will also run a charity drive at Salaama School for the blind. While there, she will donate materials like clothes, sunglasses, Braille Machines, Sanitary pads and towels.
