US rapper Bow Wow was on Saturday morning arrested in Atlanta following an alleged altercation.
The hip-hop star – real name Shad Gregory Moss – was detained by cops along with a woman named as Leslie Kyomi who is said to be a former girlfriend.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, both of them claimed to have been assaulted by the other and they were both arrested when officers were unable to determine who started the alleged fight.

However according to Bow Wow’s team, Kiyomi was upset that Bow Wow was going to Super Bowl-related events without her, which allegedly caused her to bash the actor/rapper’s face with a lamp.

The rep spoke with The Shade Room and claimed that is what caused a majority of the injuries Bow Wow suffered, which included a gash in his neck and side and bruised ribs. There were also scratches on his face, which were evident in subsequently released mugshots after the former couple was arrested on battery charges.

Both Moss, 31, and Holden were held on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and taken to Fulton County Jail.

Moss had been promoting a Super Bowl pop-up shop for his mother over the weekend before the drama took place.

The rapper rose to fame as Snoop Dogg’s teenage protege and was formerly known as Lil’ Bow Wow.

Back in 2016, Moss declared he was retiring from the music industry to focus on other projects.
