Coke studio launched its 3rd edition yesterday at a glamorous event at Golf course hotel, where the Ugandan participants were also unveiled.

These include King Saha, Alvin Keyz, Weasel and Sheeba Karungi. Each shared their view about the studio. For Sheeba Karungi, the platform has not only helped her meet Harmonize but also work with him.

“I had never dreamt of meeting Harmonize but Coke studio has done it for me. It has enabled me work with one of Africa’s vocally talented musician,” she said.

This is after Sheeba was paired with the Tanzanian musician for this specific edition.

The show themed ‘Pride and celebration’ has artists drawn from different genres, eras and regions and put in pairs to create a modern and authentic African sound through musical fusion.

As the artists interact and produce music documented by the shows’ producers, they also get to learn about each other’s music and styles while exchanging cultures.

The show takes the viewers inside the recording studio to watch a diverse range of artists.
