Davido makes late appearance but impresses

On any other day, people would break chairs, destroy property or even attack the organisers if an artiste delayed to show up at his concert. But with the ushering of a New Year, the crowd at Davido’s 30 million concert at Pearl of Africa Hotel, were too excited to be bothered by Davido’s late performance.

The Nigerian multi-winning artiste came to the stage at 2.30am but no one had left the Pearl of Africa hotel. Everyone was waiting to see him perform some of the biggest songs on the continent.

He too didn’t disappoint as he mostly performed songs that the crowd new. Songs such as ‘Dami duro’, ‘All of you’, ‘Tchelete’, ‘Number one’, ‘Skelewu’, ‘The money’, and then inviting Pallaso on stage to do their collabo ‘Twatoba’.

Revelers at Davido’s 30 million concert

In his last session, the 26 year old performed songs such as ‘Fall’, ‘If’, ‘Gobe’, and ‘Aye’ among others. The crowd sung along to most of the songs while dancing to the New Year.

Navio, Gravity Omutujju, Beenie Gunter, Sheeba, Bebe Cool, Lydia Jazmine, and Don Mc were among the acts who kept the crowd on their feet before Davido, while socialites like Bad black, Zari and Meddie Sentongo among others were busy downing bottles in the VIP section.
