Bebe Cool rallies fans to attend Kenzo’s concert

Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool

For the love of Uganda, a few months ago, singer Eddy Kenzo rallied Ugandans to vote for Bebe Cool in the AFRIMA awards. His good will paid off and the Gagamel artist came home with the award, beating Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, who was his biggest rival.

This Friday, Kenzo will be hosting his 10-year music anniversary celebrations at the Kampala Serena Hotel. Bebe Cool has returned the favour and called on Ugandans to go and support Kenzo. He also paid Shs 3 million for a table.

“In support of my young brother Eddy Kenzo who is having a concert this Friday at Serena hotel. I think as Ugandans let’s all go and support the young man because he has done good struggle for his music and I think it’s worth supporting and this is the best way we can support young people. I have just bought a table so let’s all go to Serena and support Eddy Kenzo this Friday,” Bebe Cool said in video on Facebook.

Bebe Cool and Eddy Kenzo have recently not been good friends and on several occasions been throwing jibes at each other. But with such gestures, the Ugandan music industry is perhaps being restored to its glorious days.
