Lady Mariam of the Tindatine fame
Lady Mariam known to many as Tindatine, had her time in 2013 but it seems not many people in this generation would easily recognise her. Ask the organisers of Fik Fameica’s My Journey concert last Friday.
When Tindatine arrived at the concert, she hoped to get VIP treatment at the venue – at face value but lo and behold. The mean-looking bouncers, already frustrated by the few revellers, did not want to know.
The former singer (does she still sing?) was bounced, not once, but three times, and when she finally got her way in, she went as if on a revenge mission, posting a selfie in the visibly-empty VIP section.
It had been a long while since Lady Mariam made a public appearance so wamma you cannot blame the bouncers.
