Events Promoter KT buys Eddy Kenzo’s concert at 150m

Singer Eddy Kenzo is already smiling to the bank even before stepping on the stage of his much anticipated concert. The concert dubbed ’10 years of Eddy Kenzo’ will take place on January 4 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

Our sources have revealed that Musa Kavuma of KT promotions has bought Eddy Kenzo’s concert at a whooping Shs150M for the main show and the following shows. KT is known for buying different shows. Before Eddy Kenzo’s he bought Sheebah Karungi’s Omwooyo concert, and Rema’s Banyabo Concert.

After the Serena show, Kenzo will head to Afro Club Kasangati on Saturday and the last show will be on January 6 at Freedom City.

Eddy Kenzo has over the years amassed a following in Uganda and internationally as regards his music career.

The singer who rose to fame with his hit ‘sitya loss’ in 2014, became the first Uganda to win a BET Award- International Viewers’ choice Award the following year, 2015.

Eddy Kenzo is the artist behind other hit songs like Sitya Loss, Feeling the Heat, Mbilo Mbilo, Stamina, Soraye, Kyomisinga, Kunzisa, Jubilation, among others.
