Tanzanian singer/Zari Hassan’s ex Diamond Platnumz has had a very rocky relationship with his biological father Abdul Jumaa whom he has many times described as a dead beat dad.

This has, however, not deterred the old man from making an unusual plea to his son months before his wedding. He has pleaded with the artiste to invite him to his wedding early next year.

According to sde.co.ke, Abdul said that if the singer fails to invite him to attend his special day, he would feel rejected and despised.

“I call upon him not to ignore me on that day, because if he fails to invite me I will feel despised,” Abdul said.

He also said that his son has not told him about his soon-coming nuptials but he gor to know about through rumors in his village.
“I have not been informed about it but I’ve heard people talking about it in the villages. But I pray that God makes it successful. I will be happy if my son marries,” he said.

Diamond announced that he will walk down the aisle his Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna Barbieri Oketch on Valentine’s day.

“I have set February 14, 2019, as my wedding date. The ceremony will last four days. Valentine’s Day will fall on a Thursday; so, the wedding ceremony will take place on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That is my preliminary arrangement. If anything would come up, forcing me to change the dates, I will communicate that in good time,” he said.

Diamond has often ignored his father on important functions on claims that he abandoned him while he was still a kid. He was brought up by his mother.
