After a successful debut at the Uganda Golf Club last month, the Tusker Malt Music Lounge continued its entertainment streak by going all out at Nexus Bar and Lounge.
The Najjera-based hangout was the second stop for the Music Lounge, hosting Janzi Band in a celebration of music that left revelers jubilant and dancing the night away to the soothing tunes from the band.
With nine years of musical experience under its belt, Janzi Band is an Afro fusion, contemporary and world music inspired youthful group that has matured into a mainstream act over time and now ranks as one of the best in the country.
“This Is an opportunity for us not only to showcase our music but also make fans of people who previously did not know what we can do musically. We also get a chance to give back to our Fans in a special way, “said James Ssewakiryanga founder of Janzi Band.
The band will be playing at different venues all over the country once a month for a year while giving people a musical experience of the Tusker Malt Music Lounge. It will also be promoting its latest album Eka and playing some of the hits on the album, including songs like Africa, Just a dream, Ngaali, Njabala and River Road among others.
