Kanye West postpones release of album produced in Uganda

Ye- Kanye West

Kanye West’s Yandi Album, which he is said to have produced in Uganda, has been delayed for a second time.

The American rapper says he is not coming with a new album soon. He will announce a new date. He said in a tweet, Monday night.

“It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi. After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet.  I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding.”

The album was scheduled for release on November 23. This date was revealed by Ye’s wife Kim Kardashian after the rapper failed to release it at the end of September as earlier planned.

Earlier this year, Kanye claimed Yandhi would drop on September 29.

After the album failed to drop, Kanye said he was going to Africa to finish it. Apparently, the trip wasn’t very productive.

Kanye, his wife and production team were in Uganda for close to a week in October. They stayed at Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. During his stay, he paid a courtesy visit to President Museveni at State House and another visit to orphans at an UWESO children’s home in Wakiso district.

We cannot tell whether Kanye used his time here productively to work on his album. But we eagerly await it!
