The Wednesday afternoon down pour has left most roads in the city submerged in floods and impassable.
Traffic flow along the affected roads was also paralyzed for hours as traffic officers were seen directing motorists. Some of the roads affected are Jinja road, Gaba road and Queens way on Entebbe road , among others.
Pedestrians who couldn’t wade through the water were carried by those who took advantage of the situation for a fee between Shs500 and Shs1,000. PHOTOS BY EDGAR BATTE
