When he started his ‘Omuntu Wa’wansi’ campaign about a year ago, Andrew Kyamagero was vouching for the rights of the people at the grass root. Little did he know that the same phrase would be used against him! What goes around comes around!
Again, today as he posted a photo of him posing with Precious Remmie, the new girl on Spark TV’s Live Wire show, Kyamagero would not have envisaged the outcome.
In the cosy photo, Remmie wraps her right arm around Kyamagero, while lifting her left leg, just like a young couple in love for the very first time.
“Every generation has its own stars. Munzikirize banjulire (please allow me introduce) Precious Remmie, the new talent on TV, she hosts the #LiveWire show on Spark TV. I have worked with her from way back while at Record TV. One thing stands out, she is a go-getter. Ever since she joined, we have been busy, until recently when we bumped into each other. Work ye wali. Naye ebya pose nkyayiiga mpola mpola Tune to Spark TV Mon to Friday 8PM, you will see what I see,” his post reads.
But maybe Kyamagero was not seeing what his followers saw in that photo, when he posted it, or maybe his followers were simply seeing miracles happen in that photo, as his surname suggests.
Or maybe his followers are just a bunch of perverted human beings, but hey, we seem to be on the same page. Remmie clearly created a hostile environment for Kyamagero and omuntu wa’wansi.
However, we needed some judges to help us come to that conclusion.
Muhereza Kyamutetera who shared the photo on his profile said, “Kyamagero Andrew Comrade olina ebyamagero indeed. #RunsIntoHiding.” Kyamagero is a Luganda word, meaning miracle. Byamagero are miracles.
Probably after trying so hard to understand the photo, Abdu Dilshan Wasike, a sports journalist decided to take his calculations to the football pitch, and hand it over to the VAR, you remember that Video assistant referee that gave fans a hard time during World? Yes, that one.
“Kyamagero Andrew Comrade’s #VARChallenge… Let’s see if the hand knocked on it. Yes, it’s a handball… Kyamagero was armed & dangerous!”
Not our words.
And it is at moments like this that we allow that the Internet does not forget. Others have dug up old photos. Check this out
