The cost of living is high, and musicians are not immune to that. One of the biggest challenges facing musicians is generating income. Gone are the days when a band could rely solely on music sales and touring to earn a living.
Like everyone else, the reality is we need to diversify our revenue streams.
One person who is already doing that is singer Chris Evans Kaweesi. The singer believes that concentrating on only music will not salvage him from the high cost of living and the mounting taxes. He thus delved into tomato farming and has achieved a rich harvest.
“Happiness is killing me. Harvesting in progress. Success has no short cuts. We must work hard. The Baganda say Atega ogumu taliira,” his post reads.
