The concert was initially supposed to be held on October 20, at Namboole stadium was on two occasions blocked by the stadium management and later police.

On October 11, 2018, Jamil Ssewanyana Mpagi the Managing Director Namboole, said the stadium has been pre booked to host two events, including a wedding ceremony on October 20, thus the concert could not take place on that date. Namboole later informed the singer that they would be free to host a show on November 9th, but later wrote asking him to try another venue.

This was after police told him to cancel the concern, as stadium management were not aware of it.
