After walking down the aisle with his longtime sweetheart Shapiro Mazowe two years ago, gospel singer Tickie Tah, real name Joseph Luwaga, decided to stick around for a while but it looks like this long distance thing has refused to work.
The singer turned Bebe Cool manager, was,according to highly-placed sources, tired of the back and forth movements to keep his marriage afloat.
Tickie Tah’s wife, who lives in the UK with their children, was in the country longest at the time of legalising their relationship.
What we are yet to understand is whether Tickie Tah’s leaving Uganda also means a stop to his music career.
Despite his own music career taking a limping twist, Tickie Tah has for long been a force to reckon with on the local music scene and was working closely with Swangz Avenue and Gagamel Phamily. But like they say, eventually we gotta prioritise.
