Social media tax is necessary – Bebe Cool

Bebe Cool

Bebe Cool

Musician Bebe Cool has come out today to reveal his stand on the social media tax. The same tax made some of his fellow musicians protest a few days ago.

Bebe Cool said that the tax is going to help shape social media because it has been misused.

“The tax is going to help us curb the use of social media. People have been using it for the wrong reasons, tarnishing people’s names, to publish nude pictures among others,” he said.

Bebe Cool also said that the artistes who protested on Wednesday were just fooling the public.

“I couldn’t join my brothers because they were just acting like a nuisance. I was so ashamed of them. Musicians have built houses and bought expensive cars. But have you ever heard any of them paying any tax off the money they have been receiving from promoters!” Bebe Cool said.

He also added that those musicians have been making lots of money off social media for a very long time without paying taxes so their going on the streets was just to fool everyone.
