President Museveni has said that Africans are tired of life and therefore do not try to live carefully.
Museveni, who is delivering this year’s State of the Nation address at Serena Hotel, made the remarks when talking about over speeding by Ugandan drivers and motorists.
“It’s like Africans are tired of life. Why are you over speeding? If you are 20 minutes late, what will happen?” he questioned.
Museveni added that today Africans die from both good and bad things.
“Everything kills them, too much food, alcohol, men, even women kill them. Everything good ends up becoming bad,” he said.
He also said that his convoy drives carefully and never breaks traffic rules. “If u see my convoy over speeding just know am not there or am late for a head of state event,” he said evoking laughter from the audience.
Any way… if his convoy only over speeds when he is not in the car then he probably never travels.
