Skyz Hotel says the order on the receipt is not for one beef samosa, but for a platter of four beef samosas with raita and sweet chilli sauce.

Last week, social media was up in arms, demanding Skyz hotel to explain the source of the meet they use for their beef samosas, after a receipt indicating that a single samosa costs Shs27,000, made round rounds.
However, after reading our story, Skyz Hotel management got in touch with us and said, the order on the receipt was not for one beef samosa.
They further stated that they would edit their receipts to detail the components of the order.
“The order on the receipt is actually not for one beef samosa, but for a platter of four beef samosas with raita and sweet chilli sauce. The original post was misunderstood, but Skyz Hotel understands the confusion and is editing their receipts accordingly.”
