Last weekend, the Fish Festival saw its second edition and it would not surprise many if the event does not return next year.
Boy was it a flop! The show that kicked off at 7pm came to an end at around 11pm since everything was not going well and there was only a handful of people.
Among the performers at the event was Ronald Magada, known to many as Maro, who came out cursing the organisers of the event.
The singer was seen backstage asking for his performance fees but apparently they kept asking him to wait. A source close to Maro said the singer accepted to sing without advance pay, with a promise that his money would be paid after the gate collection.
It was unfortunate that gate collection money could not even pay most of the service providers and Maro was begged to go home and wait for their call. The sad Maro was seen leaving the Uganda Museum grounds without as much as fuel money from the organisers. Bambi!
