Not long ago, Singer Eddie Yawe left Afrigo Band, where he has been a member for a while. However before leaving the band, Yawe had been contracted by event organisers Sprout Africa as a member of Afrigo Band to perform at the Tugende Mukikadde Show.
Because he is no longer a member of the band, we wondered what happens, but Patrick Kalungi, one of the founders of Sprout Africa said Eddy Yawe’s leaving Afrigo does not mean he will not be performing at the Tugende Mukikadde.
“Afrigo will perform as a band and Eddy Yawe will perform as an individual and there is no way it will affect the event from going on,” Kalungi said.
Yawe, who is the elder brother of MP and singer Bobi Wine, left the band following reported unresolved differences with band members. He left at a time his song Tukigale featuring Carol Nantongo was topping charts.
