Bettinah Tianah at the rolex stand
So the nineteenth edition of Blankets and Wine was held yesterday at Lugogo Cricket oval and as usual the slay queens flocked the venue dressed to kill.
Hard to miss was media personality Bettinah Tianah who was moving around with her in her short Kitenge and head wrap posing for whoever had a camera to take a picture. In tow, was singer Pia Pounds who was also stunning in a red dress accentuated with a black belt.

It was all good…I mean its Blankets and Wine…duh! Well… until Bettinah took to social media with a video of her supposedly ordering her first rolex at the only rolex stand in the venue. In the video, she is being cute and excited that the rolex guy is making her first rolex.
“In Uganda we don’t wear them we eat them, just had my very first rolex at #BlanketsAndWineKla,” she captioned the video.
First was the fake Balenciaga shoe she said she bought at Shs2.8 million. Now this! But Bettinah, which girl in Kampala has not tested a rolex?

And its not only us smelling the lies here. Social media was having none of this show off jazz and immediately roasted her.
Linda Juliet commented “Lmao.. Which uni did you study at??? My very first rolex Nio Nio bih plz,”
PR guru Anne Whitehead was shocked and questioned, “Where are you from, Bettinah?”
MarK Kasule mocked, “Atti first rolex in her life. Which word can I use to describe this pretty lie?”

Meanwhile other tweeps are defending her saying that she meant ‘her first rolex at Blankets and wine’ not ‘her first rolex in life’…which is a good point too.
