Prophet Elvis Mbonye of Zoe Fellowship ministries, has booked the Lugogo Cricket Oval, popularly known for hosting secular music shows, for the next 24 months.
Prophet Mbonye who has been based at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds…..(for the last how many months/years)… is now moving to Lugogo Cricket Oval in a bid to get a bigger space for his congregation.
According to the letter signed by Dr Ogwel Bernard Patrick on behalf of the general secretary National Council of sports, the Cricket Oval was booked starting from May 15, and every other Tuesdays for the next 24 months by Zoe Fellowship ministries for their prayer meetings.

“Accordingly, we request you to reserve cricket oval for the aforementioned event,” the letter dated May 14, 2018 reads in part.
It adds; “We assure you that the NCS shall ensure that the grounds are protected against any encumbrances.”
Lugogo Cricket Oval is located along Jinja road in Kampala.
Surrounding the cricket ground, there are tennis courts and a football ground which is the home ground of Kampala City Council FC.
It is also known for hosting big crowds for big events like; music concerts and some of national events.

This therefore seems to suggest that the higher the number of Mbonye critics, the bigger his congregation grows.
