Details on robbery that left Singer Chris Evans hospitalized emerge

Singer Chris Evans Kaweesi has always lived a scandal free life except for his sometimes provocative posts on social media. In fact he has of late only been focusing on promoting his new music.

However last night the Ndikusasulaki hitmaker was attacked by thugs in Lungujja Mengo who took off with his car (number plates UAZ 399J). According to his manager Mr Godfrey Kayemba, Chris Evans’ head was badly hit with hammers and is currently fighting for his life at Mengo Hospital.

Meanwhile today morning Kampala Metropolitan police have confirmed the attack and also embarked on the hunt for thugs that waylaid local singer.

Mr Luke Owoyesigyire, Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, confirmed that the musician was waylaid by unknown people at Lugunjja, Lubaga Division.

“True the musician was attacked by criminals and we have started our investigations to establish the attackers. He has told us his vehicle was taken and our officers are tracing it,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.

Chris Evans is known for his soothing love music which includes songs like Silitagala, Mulungi and Rihana.

On February 1 this year celebrated singer and song writer Mowzey Radio died after he sustained injuries from a bar brawl in Entebbe.

Late last year, young and talented music producer Danz Kumapeesa was hit with a dump-bell that sent him to death.

Music fans have urged their stars to move with security personnel since their lives are usually targeted by people who do not mean well for them. For now, let us keep Chris Evans in our prayers. Get well soon brother!
