Diamond Platnumz’s bond with Hamisa Mobetto has always been one that seemed to drift from a fond friendship to a love/hate relationship. There was something about Mobetto’s smug smile whenever she was asked about Zari that insinuated that there was something she knew that the world didn’t know. Even when she was bashed and ridiculed, the video vixen even chose to headline a party in Uganda, where her then co-wife Zari Hassan hailed from.
Over the weekend, Diamond Platnumz posted a cryptic message on social media with the caption “Alele” a romantic song on which is he featured by Mboso, a Wasafi records artiste. He accompanied the caption with emojis of a bride and groom. Telling right?
On the same weekend, Diamond Platnumz also posted pictures he took while visiting a cousin and in the picture guess who makes an appearance, a very happy Mobetto.
This comes less than three weeks since Diamond Platnmuz was arrested for sharing a bedroom video he shared while getting cozy with Mobetto. In the video, she is heard saying she came for child support but from the looks of things, she came for that child support and the bank that dishes it out.
Their love has slowly been rekindled since Diamond Platnumz complimented her while giving out an award at a recent Tanzanian award show. “You look lovely,” Diamond Platnumz had whispered in her ears but unfortunately the microphones picked the whisper up leading to Mobetto blushing endlessly before breaking into silly giggles.

The genesis of their relationship
The two have been sweethearts for the longest time but broke up in 2009 and rekindled their love in 2016. This is when Mobetto featured in Diamond Platnumz video Salome.

Their romance took a deeper turn when Mobetto got pregnant though Diamond Platnumz was still involved with Zari. The Tanzanian crooner initially denied siring the child though after Zari exposed their dirty linen, he accepted that the child was indeed his. Although the Diamond-Zari relationship carried on despite the infidelity, Mobetto still lurked in the shadows that seemed to follow Diamond even when he travelled to other countries for performances.

This connection with Mobetto and Diamond’s infamous philandering ways later took a toll on his relationship with Zari.

On Valentines’ day this year, Zari announced that she had parted with Diamond, (a father to two of her children). Since then, they haven’t met and neither has he visited his kids down in South Africa where she is currently staying.
Since then, Diamond Platnumz and Hamisa Mobetto have been hanging out together and many are speculating that the African Beauty hit singer is only doing this to make Zari feel jealous.

But on the other hand, the mother of five has moved on and she’s not bothered by what her ex is doing.
