‘I don’t father children with big heads’, Mathias Walukaga denies maid’s baby

Mathias Walukaga

Uganda was treated to scandalous news when news broke out that a one Aisha Namugerwa is accusing Kadongo Kamu musician Mathias Walukaga of impregnating her and thereafter abandoning her with the child.

Namugerwa, a resident of Mubende district, says that she used to be a house help (house maid) in Walukagga’s home when she had an affair with her employer. She says that the singer used to sneak around with her because his wife was never at his residence in Maaya, Wakiso district. It was not long before she conceived.

It was reportedly after she gave birth to a baby boy that Walukaga tricked her and persuaded her to go back to her village. This was after he promised to keep on providing for the new born baby. Namugerwa however says that Walukaga has only sent her Shs30,000 since he sent her packing.

Finding life hard, the young mother ran to a local television station seeking help to expose the singer. Walukaga has however denied having done any monkey business with the maid. His defense is he doesn’t not father children with big heads which the baby reportedly has.

He instead pins a one Twaha, only identified as a dancer in Vision Heros’ band for being the one responsible for impregnating the maid.

Meanwhile Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi has gotten involved in the case and has promised to pay for a DNA test between Walukaga and the child.
