My sister is the best manager – Irene Ntale

2017 entertainment industry

Irene Ntale

When Irene Ntale quit Swangz Avenue at the beginning of last year and decided to make her sisters her manager, many thought this was a very bad move because her sister had no experience in the music industry.

But Irene thinks otherwise. In fact she says her sister is the best thing that has happened to her music career. Not even Swangz Avenue that discovered her and made her who she is today. “Having my sister as my manager is the best thing that has happened to my music career. Yes many people say she’s not experienced but experience comes with time. I work with her and I know what she’s capable of,” Irene said during an interview on Spark Tv’s Koona programme.

The Nkubukinze musician who is also slated to have her second concert dubbed ‘Ntale unchained’ at Kampala Serena Hotel on 6th July however said that she misses Swangz Avenue because she learnt a lot from them but she moved on.

Irene left Swangz Avenue early last year and decided to pursue her solo career with the help of her sister. Many considered this a bad move and indeed the first few months proved exactly that as she spent a long time without having any hits, videos and performances became scarce. This however came to pass as she rose again with songs such as Stamina Daddy among others.
