Mowzey Radio wins HiPipo song writer of the year award

He may be gone from earthly life but Mowzey Radio’s legacy is one that will live on for years to come.

The singer who passed on February 1 this year has won the Song Writer of the year award at the HiPipo awards held today (March 17) at Serena hotel.

At the time of his death, Radio had written over 200 songs for both the Good lyfe crew and many other artistes.

Mowzey Radio beat Black Skin, Jamie Culture, Dokta Brain, Rafiki and Andre. The award nominations were released at the end of last year and it is sad that Mowzey Radio did not get to witness his victory.

The Good lyfe crew posted a pictute of the award on their social media with the caption, “This is for you mi broda. The best song writer ever. We Will Always Keep them for our Young Children,”
