Socialite Bryan White, real name Brian Kirumira, has launched the Bryan white foundation in Mbarara on Saturday March 10 where schools and the needy have received a lot of goodies including liquid soap, boxes of soap, jerry cans, bags of beans and maize flour among others.

At the launch he was accompanied by musicians like Weasel of Good Lyfe, Pallaso, Big eye, Lady Mariam among others.

Earlier in the morning he visited Mbarara regional referral hospital maternity ward where over 50 expectant mothers received liquid soap, mama kits, basins, bars of soap and mosquito nets.

He has asked the youth to stop the begging culture but rather focus on starting their own small enterprises. He also advised them to desist from demonstrations.

“Before you go on streets to throw stones first ask those taking you there what they are giving you. Those people come here and tell you to go on streets to throw stones and they get money, but for me am a man of action,” Bryan told the locals

Bryan has asked people from Mbarara to stop falling prey to people who convince them to sell their livestock so as to go to Kampala and do music because nowadays the music industry does not pay.

“Nobody should lie to you to sell your livestock to go to Kampala for music because nowadays Uganda’s music industry has gone down in terms of income. Yet this side you can earn much in livestock since you know it well” he said.

It is to be noted that he has banned singer Weasel from doing more music so he can follow him around the country.
