Comedienne Anne Kansiime is proving that breaking up with her ‘dark chocolate’ Ojok did not break her spirit since she has leaped from project to project since December 2017.

Her latest milestone, even bigger than most of all the others she has achieved in the past, is giving an inspirational talk alongside former Liberia president and Nobel Laureate Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
Kansiime made the announcement on social media recently. “Finally this God of mine has did it again!! This Wednesday the 8th of March 2018, I will be in Massachusetts ..(just know if they ask me to pronounce Massachusetts at immigration.. we might have real problems),” she wrote.
She added that she will be joined by other powerful African women at the African women’s Leadership Conference at Wesley University in Massachusetts including Agnes Binagwaho, a former minister in Rwanda, Nigerian International Human Rights and Shariah law attorney Hauwa Ibrahim, KAKENYA NTAIYA (Kenyan Educator, Feminist and social Activist), Faridah Bedwei (Ghanaian software engineer and disability rights advocate
Being the only comedienne on the team, Kansiime promised to crack very executive jokes this times. And she should, since the conference will be convening of some of the most influential voices in African Women Leadership from Education, Politics, Health, Technology, Entertainment and the Law as seen from the line up above.
She intimated that she was feeling a little pressure as she did not see this coming. She wrote: “I’m still in shock trying to get to terms with how I ended up on such a panel with my indigenous Mparo swag and am still lost for words.”
Much as this new achievement mostly works for her female followers (it’s a women’s day event), even the men still have something to hold onto. Amongst the numerous slay queen hashtags she added onto her post, she also added #StillSingleAndShopping. So don’t lose hope. Just find a strategic location in the market to place yourself. You just never know she might buy you using that Massachusetts money.
