Brenda Nanyonjo has come out to write a book about the July 2010 bombings. Brenda Nanyonjo was among the survivors of the bombings that happened at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Lugogo and Ethiopian Village Restaurant in Kabalagala.
In the book titled Miss Uganda Foundation changing lives of young women over the years, Nanyonjo highlights all the events that happened after the July bombings, how her life changed and how she has inspired and transformed the lives of young women over the years.
After the bombings, Nanyonjo had fragments in her body and went to a hospital in London to seek thorough medical attention and while on her sick bed, she had a dream about Miss Uganda. By that time, Miss Uganda was on hold. It was since then that she has been running the franchise.
