Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger coming to Uganda

Schwarzenegger

Uganda has become a hot international stars’ destination in the recent past and if the trend is anything to go by then more are yet to flock the country.

The latest information reaching our desks is that legendary Hollywood actor, turned politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger is on his way to the Pearl of Africa come May.

Schwarzenegger

The actor is not coming to feature in a Wakaliwood movie as many might think but to take part in a powerlifting championship.

Schwarzenegger, who was a body builder before venturing into acting, is coming to take part in the first edition of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic power-lifting Championship which he will officially launch in the first week of May.

Schwarzenegger

Some of the bodybuilders expected to take part in the competitions include Ivan Masakwa, Jonathan Ogwang, Brenda Nakato and Karim Zubair.

Schwarzenegger won the Mr Universe title at age 20 and went on to win the Mr Olympia contest seven times.

He has since appeared in a number of successful films, such as Terminator, Commando, The Running Man, Predator, Total Recall and True Lies.
