It is with no doubt that the most selling young artiste at the moment is Fik Fameica. He came into the music game last year with a song titled Kutama which he later followed up with Mbega Wa Baala, Mutuwulira, Byenyenya and Kutama among other hits.
All these songs have not disappointed in the music Industry and it is the reason he is performing at almost all local stages and recently, he was booked for a performance in Dubai.
However when you critically listen to Fik Fameica’s music, you find out that all his songs are copy and paste. His club banger Pistol was copied from another song titled Fester by English grime rapper Lethal Bizzle and Dutch electronic producer Diztortion.

Kutama was copied from a gospel song in Kenya while Byenyenya was copied from a Jamaican song called Friendly with Her.
In a recent interview with a local TV station, Fik Fameica was asked why he copies most of his songs. But in his defense he said he doesn’t have a problem with copying and he will continue copying after all at the end, people love the songs.
“There is copying that leaves the fans complaining and there is copying that gets them dancing and they don’t care where you copied the song from,” Fameica said.
He went on to say that his talent has helped him get songs that have failed to hit and redo them in a way that is more appreciated by music lovers. This has proved he is better than the one who came up with the original version of the song.

To prove that he is not about to stop copying, the singer two days ago released a song titled Mafia.
