There have been rumors that business man Jack Pemba was unhappy with how the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards went last week and demanded that Brian Ahumuza, the awards’ proprietor, refunds the Shs100 million he injected in the awards as sponsorship money.
It was said that Pemba had expected the awards gala to be all about him with constant mentions of his name from the MCs but this did not happen. However, the Pemba sports academy proprietor came out to refute the allegations yesterday.
“The rumors that are circulating that I was not happy with the Abryanz show as a sponsor are not true. I am very happy with what Brian has done for (SKP) Sheeba Kasami Pemba and Pemba Sports Africa. Brian is a very good person,” Pemba said.
And to show his happiness, Pemba also announced that as Pemba group of Companies and Pemba Sports Africa, they are going to sign a shs500M three-year-contract with Abryanz.
“We are going to sign a contract worth shs500 million with Abryanz to be his sponsor for the next three years. We are going to be committed for the next three years” he concluded.
