Fashion critic Keturah Kamugasa dead

Fashion critic Lydia Keturah Kamugasa has passed away. Kamugasa is reported to have passed away at International Hospital Kampala, based in Namuwongo where she breathed her last at about 3pm.

The 50-year-old was a regular fashion columnist with the New Vision newspaper and was also editor of Bride and Groom and Flair for Her magazines.

“Keturah Kamugasa, will be deeply missed, your creativity, knowledge and tact with words will never be forgotten,” Lord Rhaikara, an ardent reader posted on social media when the news of the death broke out.

Conan Businge a former workmate posted “It’s hard to believe that @Aunt Lydia Keturah Kamugasa has gone to be with the Lord. So sad a moment…”

Kamugasa died just days after the burial of her colleague Peter Busomoke, a photojournalist.

A real loss to the #fashion world. Keturah Kamugasa taught me about diversity in style when I was a young impressionable girl. Her writing gave me ideas and fashion tips I followed even to this day. May your Soul Rest in Peace
