Although Nigerian singer and songwriter, Inetimi Alfred Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya arrived in the country late ahead of his Friday show at Jinja Fest he was able to make to for his meet and greet party with fans.
After waiting hours at Club Guvnor for the Sanko singer, several of his fans left in disappointment when they heard rumours the Nigerian star would not be able to meet them since he arrived at Entebbe at about 1:30am Friday.
However, shortly after checking in Pearl of Africa Hotel where he was to put up, the singer made straight to his Guvnor party where he met his other Nigerian colleague, WizKid who had just finished his show at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Timaya arrived at Guvnor at about 3am.
Fans almost ran mad upon seeing Timaya entering Guvnor as most of them shouted at the top of their voices. He arrived in company of events organizer Gareth Onyango and musicians like Vamposs and Goodlyf.
Shortly after WizKid entered the club then followed by Timaya, their songs started playing as fan struggled to have a glimpse of the two stars.
However, by the time of filing this story, Timaya was still meeting his fans while WizKid had gone to sleep perhaps because he had just had a wonderful show at Lugogo before the arrival of his colleague.
