Bebe Cool has bought a coffin worth Shs800,000 and pledged Shs3m in condolences for Dizzy Nuts. The Katono singer was at the scene yesterday when his aide Dizzy Nuts was run down by a car near Victoria Pub in Kireka where they had gone to perform. In fact, he just survived the accident because he was seated in the car while Dizzy Nuts was standing outside when the Toyota Harrier rammed into him.
The latest we have received is that the body of the deceased is at his parents’ home in Kireka. Bebe Cool and Dizzy Nuts have been long-time friends and worked on two successful projects; Fire burn dem and Mundongo.
Dizzy Nuts ran to Gagamel when he left Bobi Wine’s Firebase Crew in the mid-2000s but was relieved of his duties after falling out with Bebe Cool. The two reconciled sometime last year and received a thunderous welcome from the crowd when they performed at the Raggae edition of Roast and Rhyme at Jahazi Pier in March this year.
