Kampala City Festival charity concert @ Kololo IndependencE grounds
Diamond Platnumz will this evening headline the Kampala City Festival concert at Kololo Grounds starting at 6pm. Other artistes present will be Sheebah, Winnie Nwagi, Geosteady, Ykee Benda, Gravity, Cindy, B2C and Irene Ntale. Entrance is 20k ordinary, 40k VIP and Shs3m tables. Proceeds from the concert will go to improving Kampala schools. Sunday will be the day for the KCCA carnival.
Uganda cranes vs Ghana @ Namboole Stadium
The Uganda Cranes will take on Ghana Black Stars in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers tournament at Namboole Stadium tomorrow. This is a do or die match and entrance to the stadium will be 30k ordinary, 70k VIP and 150k VVIP. The game starts at 4pm.
Red Sofa sessions @ the Food court
The 7th edition of the Red Sofa sessions is happening tonight at The Food Court, Garden City starting at 6pm with the theme ‘More than this’. Panelists will include Beatrice Langariti, Moses Mukisa and Joan Mugenzi. Perfomances will come from Jackie Senyonjo and Sam Kimera. Entrance fee is 20k.
Africa Sevens cup @ Legends Rugby grounds.
The Africa Sevens tournament is back this weekend at Legends Rugby Grounds where the Uganda rugby team will be up against Botswana, Madagascar, Namibia, Tunisia, Zambia, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Zimbabwe. Gams will be today and tomorrow, and you will pay 20k general, 30k VIP and 50k VVIP. Gates will open at 7am till evening.
Earth dance beach party @ Mulungu Munyonyo
The earth dance party is on tomorrow at Munyonyo Mulungu Beach featuring DJ LL, Herbert, Nimrod, Lola and Pofia. Show starts at midday until late and there will be lots of fun activities, games, music and nyama choma. Entrance is 10k and do not miss surprise performances.

Olya Undugu dance @ Maisha Gardens
Maisha Gardens will this Sunday hold the Sosolya Undugu dance featuring dances from Western and Central Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and drums from Burundi. Show will start at 6.30pm with free entrance for children under 12. Guests aged 13-20 will pay Shs10,000 while those above 21 years will pay Shs20,000.
Amangdibba @ Theatre Labonita
The Ebonies are back with their new stage production titled Amangdibba tomorrow, Sunday and Monday (Independence Day) at Theatre Labonita. The production will be staged at 7pm for the three days with entrance at 25k First class and 30k VIP.
Gakulukuta @ Bat Valley Theatre
The Heavens (Abasukkulumu) will stage a play this evening at Bat Valley Theatre titled Gakulukuta. The two shows will be staged at 3pm and 7pm. Entry fee is 20k VIP, 10k ordinary and 5k students. The theme of the plays is ‘The saints and liars’.

Nexus Lounge one Year Anniversary
Nexus Lounge in Najeera is celebrating its 1st anniversary this Sunday starting at 6pm. There will be lots of nyama choma and Nexus hampers to be given out. The event will be hosted by Sir Aludha and DJ Lex while performances will come from Sheebah and Janzi Band. There is no cover charge.
