A few months ago, before he was elected to Parliament, Barbie surprised her husband Bobi Wine by inviting his fans, members of the Firebase Crew and a few journalists to their home in Magere at 7 am.
They drummed, sang his songs and made all kinds of noise that forced him out of bed complaining about the noise. He later remembered that it was his birthday and the joke was on him. But not to die in his own movie, the self-proclaimed ghetto president waited for the right time to revenge and that was on Thursday night, Barbie’s birthday.
Because Barbie is not a musician or actress so she might have as many fans. Bobi, therefore, thought it wise to engage her family members, her friends, and his own family for this surprise birthday party at Serena Hotel. Indeed she was surprised as she walked ushered in by Bobi in a dimly lit room where they had all gathered. She cried and almost fainted when the word “Surprise” was shouted out.
“I was easily tricked and lied to. Like one blind trustful sheep, I gladly took my coarser’s right hand, followed him with no questions or suspicions at all and later fell in a trap right at the center of my most loved people all patiently waiting to send me to a quick comma. It was a very successfully carried out birthday surprise and I can not be thankful enough to my “innest”circle. Mid night 7/9/2017 was the ultimate time for this to be executed,” she posted on her Facebook wall.
She also noted that her best friend is the kind you would wish for yourself, before praising Bobi Wine saying he’s the love of her life, her everything. She also sent out love to her sisters and sisters-in-law.
“Words always fail me when you pull such stunts on me,” Barbie concluded after which she said this was the happiest birthday ever.
